Your Heat Pump installer will be able to provide you with the working temperature of the installed system. But as an example, if the Delta figure is D30 degC, then you would multiply the heat output of the radiator quoted at D50 degC by a factor of 0.51.
So if the heat output of the radiator is 2000 Watts at D50 degC, this multiplied by 0.51 would give an output of 1020 watts at D30 degC.
2000 Watts x 0.51 = 1020 Watts
Whichever way it is done, it is crucial the radiators are sized correctly, otherwise they will never get the room to the required temperature.

If you have a modern condensing boiler, one of the most common causes of it breaking down during the freezing weather is due to the condensate pipe freezing.
As an inbuilt safety feature this then causes the boiler to shut down. The condensate pipe will be on the outside of the property, directly behind the boiler. It is normally a plastic pipe which should be lagged. (Although the lagging sometimes can and does come away). To get your boiler going again, just boil some water in a kettle and pour it over the pipe (being careful of not splashing yourself). This will melt the frozen water inside and allow your boiler to continue providing warmth when you need it.
To stop the problem reoccurring, just get some pipe lagging and cable tie it around the whole pipe- from the point it comes out of the the wall to where it enters the main drain.

A radiator will feel cool at the top and warmer at the bottom if it needs bleeding of air. This is actually very simple to do using nothing but a simple bleed key.

Find the bleed vent on your radiator. This is located at one of the top corners of the radiator.
Place the key on the bleed vent and turn anti clockwise to loosen. As you do this you will initially hear a rush of air being vented out of the radiator.
Place your rag to catch escaping water when the air has been purged.
Once you see a steady stream of water escaping, tighten the bleed vent using the bleed key.
You should now feel the top of the radiator getting warm- give yourself a pat on the back!
