Adding insulation to your central heating pipes dramatically reduces the heat losses from the system and improves the efficiency. This can be easily done by adding some foam pipe insulation over the copper pipes. The insulation is available in both 15mm and 22mm diameters. Fitting is super easy- just slide over the pipes- it even holds itself in place. By adding pipe insulation to all your pipes, you will notice a considerable drop in energy usage by your boiler or heat pump.
